• Learn how to make your own rag rug! Please bring at least one bed sheet from a thrift store, or your own linen closet. We will be providing the rest of the sheets and crochet hooks. You may not complete the entire rug in this workshop but you will probably get about halfway, depending on your crochet speed. But you should have enough of an understanding of the pattern that you will be able to finish this rug, and make more!

This is not an absolute beginner crochet class. You will have more success if you have some experience with single or double crochet stitches.

Learn the traditional craft of creating rag rugs and upcycle old bed sheets with our rag rug workshop. Discover a new skill and create beautiful, eco-friendly home decor. Sustainable and creative, our workshop teaches you how to make your own unique rugs.

If you have an OLD bedsheet or two, please bring them (don't need to buy new ones) (pretty pattern or plain, low thread count works best). We will show you how to prepare the sheets for crochet. We will be providing the rest of the sheets required for your project as well as crochet hooks. You may not complete the entire rug in this workshop, but our goal is that you will have enough of an understanding of the process that you will be able to finish this rug on your own! If not, come back and see us!
