About Us

Hello! My name is Jessica Tacy. I am an administrator and maker at The Painted Porch. Pictured below is me with my husband and son. Also pictured, my mom, Terri Linger, and aunt, Sherri Trefz, (yes, they’re twins!) are the owners of our family craft business. We have a studio at 605 East Park Avenue in Fairmont where we create all of our products, and we also host many types of craft workshops and parties. We started The Painted Porch because we love to make beautiful things. We always have been and always will be making things so we decided to invite you in and teach you what we have learned along the way. We love to spark creativity in people who do not believe they are creative! Some of our interests include fiber arts, upcycling, and laser cutting crafts. We are also passionate about getting involved with the community. We create group activities for Girl Scout troops, church groups, birthday parties, etc. Come create with us!
